Barrier gate

The barrier gate Revolutions has been conceived and designed as a fixed or removable median barrier for the protection of crossings and critical openings on two-way roads, allowing traffic diversion or the passage of maintenance and service vehicles.

Median crossings on two-way roadways are essential to ensure traffic continuity when traffic diversion becomes necessary. Revolutions consists of modular elements with a length of L = 6.00 m, featuring a shape similar to the concrete New Jersey barrier with a height of H = 120 cm. This allows seamless integration with existing or newly constructed median barriers offering an equivalent containment level.

The modular system has been tested and successfully passedTB11 and TB81crash tests in accordance with the European standard UNI EN 1317-2:2010, and complies with UNI ENV 1317-4.

The device has been classified as an H4b with a working width W2.

  • • Extremely compact and robust , both during installation/assembly and transport/positioning.

    • Quick and certified installation on both bituminous pavement and concrete;

    • Limited dynamic deflection during impact with heavy vehicles, allowing installation even on narrow carriageways;

    • Excellent integration with existing metal or concrete barriers, thanks to specially designed transitions or seamless continuity via the New Jersey profile;

    •Three opening modes of the device:
    – Standard: scissor or translational movement
    – Quick: single 6 mt. module
